Leilani Nichols is an accomplished barrel racing trainer with a proven track record of success. Her training methods have resulted in many consistent barrel horses that have gone on to win in both 1D and 2D competitions. Not only has Leilani trained successful horses, but she has also competed herself in both jackpot barrel racing and rodeos. Her wealth of knowledge comes from many years of lessons from various trainers, including Vicki Frederich at Rocky Top Arena. Additionally, Leilani has ridden in multiple clinics with esteemed barrel racers Ryan Lovendahl, KC Groves, and Ed Wright.

Our upcoming small clinic at Strides Horsemanship is perfect for barrel racing enthusiasts of any level! With a limit of just 10 riders, we offer personalized and supportive learning for both riders and horses at any phase of barrel training.

During the clinic, you'll work one-on-one with our experienced trainer, who will help you identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for taking your riding and your horse's performance to the next level. With a focus on breaking concepts down to their base level, we'll help you get your horse working fluidly and forward to achieve success. We'll also cover topics such as warming up at a race, preparing for race day, and aftercare at barrel races for your horse.
